Hi there,
North Dakota's special session has reached a critical moment — and tonight is the window to stop a full kratom ban.
HB 1628 — The regulation bill passed the House. This is the right approach — 21+ age limits, labeling, and licensing for natural kratom. It is now headed to the Senate.
SB 2408 — The Senate passed a blanket ban on ALL kratom including natural leaf and sent it to the House for a vote. The House takes it up tomorrow morning.
Tonight is the window. We need to flood every legislator with calls and emails right now — urging them to oppose SB 2408 and support the regulation approach the House already passed.

When you call or write, say:
→ The House already passed the regulation bill (HB 1628) — that's the right approach. Don't undermine it by also passing a blanket ban
→ SB 2408 bans ALL kratom including natural leaf — it turns law-abiding citizens into criminals and goes further than the federal government
→ Advocates were never given the chance to testify on a blanket ban — it was amended in during the session with no public input
→ Follow the federal government's lead — the DEA scheduled synthetic 7-OH while leaving natural leaf alone. North Dakota should do the same
→ Share your story — one sentence about what natural kratom means to you
Bill details: ndlegis.gov/bo2408
The emergency ban in North Dakota has been in effect since August 5. Tonight is the last chance to stop SB 2408 before the House votes tomorrow morning. Contact legislators now and share this with every kratom consumer you know.
Thank you for standing up for safe, regulated access to natural kratom.
For the community,
